Furnished apartments near the Medical Center
For people who need somewhere to live for a few months rather than a few years — and who don’t want to buy a sofa to do it.

Who this is for
- Travelling nurses and locum clinicians on 13-week or 26-week contracts at TMC
- Rotating residents and fellows whose placement doesn’t line up with a twelve month lease
- Families staying near MD Anderson or Texas Children’s during a course of treatment
- People relocating to Houston who need a base while they work out where to buy
How it works here
We keep a small number of homes available on terms shorter than twelve months. Furniture is arranged through a local rental partner rather than us — you tell the office what you need and it’s in place before you arrive, and it leaves when you do. That works out considerably cheaper than an extended-stay hotel for anything over about six weeks, and you get a full kitchen and your own washer and dryer.
What it costs
Shorter lease terms are priced above the twelve month rate — that’s standard across the market, not specific to us. Furniture is quoted separately depending on how much you need. For a rough idea, a one bedroom on a twelve month lease starts at $1,095; a three or six month term on the same home will be higher.
Call rather than fill in a form. Short-term inventory moves too quickly to list accurately on a website. The office can tell you in one phone call whether we have something for your dates — and if we don’t, they’ll say so rather than have you drive out here.
Why this location works for treatment stays
MD Anderson is fourteen minutes away and Texas Children’s thirteen. The Fannin South rail station is six minutes, with free parking, if the person driving doesn’t want to deal with hospital garages every day. And it’s quiet — the community sits behind the lake with open ground to the north.
Questions we haven’t answered?
The leasing office picks up during opening hours and would rather tell you honestly than have you drive out here for nothing.
